Clay has always, both past and present, held an awesome fascination for mankind. It is a tremendously versatile substance which has been shaped and formed since the Ice Age. Neal is a potter dedicated to the concepts held by the Studio Pottery movement of the early 1900's - the feel of the clay may be seductive but the end product must be fresh and functional.

The British Isles has a well-deserved reputation for excellence in the production of earthenware and Halistra Pottery is a typical example of that continuing esteem.
